My artwork, 'Walking on Eggshells,' reflects my healing journey from abusive relationships. Using textiles for their comfort symbolism contrasts with the impactful experiences shaping my path. Amidst the struggle with depression, 'Walking on Eggshells' portrays emotional turmoil in serene yet unpredictable blue hues. A repetitive pattern mirrors my emotional voyage, while magnolia flowers symbolize resilience. Bold red text, 'IT WAS NEVER YOUR FAULT,' counters years of self-blame. Through this art, I hope to support fellow survivors, sharing the message that they're not alone in their healing journey.
