Peiyang (Camille) Li

My conceptual approach is heavily influenced by personal experiences and symbolism that resonates with our collective consciousness. I chose colors that carry specific meanings: pink as a symbol of feminism, black for fear, and red for violence. I opted for low-saturated colors, with gray representing something obscured and unclean, unseen by the masses. To evoke the emotions I experience, I designed the braids to encircle a small area to create a space where light from the outside is blocked. Thus; creating darkness with the E-textile wire to create a dreadful scenery.
