Sophia Eroshkina

Sophia Eroshkina is a young British artist, author, and a sweet tooth. She is inspired by wild nature and her vivid imagination. She works with oil, acrylic, watercolor, clay, and mosaic to express her feelings and to soothe herself. When she cannot fall asleep, she keeps working on the same story in her mind again and again, adding new scenes and details. When she wakes up, she likes to paint, draw, or sketch one of those scenes. Dreams come and go but the dreamy pictures stay.

Sophia Eroshkina is a young British artist, and has recently exhibited at The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition, The Boomer Gallery and “Our Earth” exhibition by the Insecta Collective.

Lunar Eclipse in Cascais

Oil on recycled canvas

12 x 17 inches

Once I was sailing in Cascais. The ocean was beautiful and magnificent.

Yet, there was plastic and other human waste floating around my boat. I decided to focus on the beauty around me and imagined a world without pollution. Out of the blue, a lunar eclipse started in front of me
