Debbie McCulliss
These images were taken of a Polar Bear in Svalbard Norway in July 2023. Polar bears rely on sea ice to travel and hunt for seals, their main prey, mate, and rest. When the sea ice melts, the polar bears have to swim far
distances to find food.
The places Debbie McCulliss has visited have a powerful presence in her head and heart. She treasures these special places and the creation of stories that teach; and art that pleases the senses. Her goal is to create memorable art that inspires conversation, evokes action, and leaves a lasting impression.
Debbie McCulliss, a Colorado-based winter wildlife and nature fine art photographer, travels the globe to bear witness to and record the strength, fragility, beauty, and rhythm of wildlife and nature.
